We’re very happy to welcome Ingrid Lekander to NMA. Ingrid Lekander is an experienced health economist and project leader, working more than 15 years in the Swedish healthcare sector. She has been working with health economic evaluations, market access strategy, pricing and reimbursement applications both as a consultant and within the pharmaceutical industry, mainly focusing on the Scandinavian countries. In her most recent role, she worked with developing monitoring and reimbursement systems for the healthcare sector, working with a wide range of stakeholders including pharmaceutical industry, governmental authorities, regions, hospitals, clinicians and patient representatives.
Ingrid holds a PhD in medical sciences from Karolinska Institutet, focusing on the use of registry data in health economic assessments. She is experienced in RWE and has a good understanding of the regulations surrounding healthcare data (incl GDPR and PUL). Her therapeutic area expertise include CNS, oncology, HIV, musculoskeletal diseases and women’s health.
